About the WFO
Who We Are
The World Flourishing Organization (WFO) is leading a global movement to make flourishing a clear, measurable, and achievable goal for the future of work – benefiting employees, organizations, and society. The WFO is setting a new global standard for organizational success.
We are a convener of leaders, learners, and policymakers collaborating to drive measurable change, and connect you with the resources you need to flourish. We help bring you innovative programs, products, and services, so that flourishing is the new measure of success. We help people and organizations reach their full potential and boost performance with science, speed, and simplicity – at scale.
Team
Coming together from different industries, the three founders Gordon (insurance + mental health), Karen (financial markets, supply chain, + philanthropy), and Eleanor (engineering + nonprofits), were all interested in the science of what drives humans to do what they do, what builds culture, and what makes humans flourish.
Flourishing starts with leadership.
We believe the CEO and executives shape workplace culture which then ripples through the organization to all teams and employees. With employee engagement declining globally and an upward trend in burnout and quiet quitting, there must be a better way to get more out of life at work.
Driven by the belief leaders can better understand what their organizational culture is (through data and measurement), what behaviors and norms create the culture (through understanding what the data is saying), and recognize how their actions and inactions influence the behaviors of their employees, we think they can learn how to change their behaviors and create workplaces that work for people.
We are on a quest to achieve this outcome.

The WFO’s purpose is to inspire a movement that is a catalyst for organizations and individuals to flourish together, creating both positive impact and value.
We’re building the flourishing eco-system to drive impact and accelerate peak performance, so that flourishing is the measure of success. Our reach is global, and we are convening the best minds in human flourishing to support future-fit organizations. We are moving beyond well-being into understanding that achieving these outcomes is dependent on changing the behaviors of leaders (starting with the CEO), teams, and employees.
